Ginger is a supernatural spice and people use it thousands of years. Ginger has anti-ulcer, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. It is maybe one of the best herbs for detoxification and it is regularly recommended in many detox diets and cleansing programs.

Its detoxifying properties can be contributed because it is highly concentrated with shoga and gingerol, both of which contain anti-spasmodic and anti-inflammatory effects over our gastrointestinal system.

If you use it with a potent mineral base such as Epsom salts in a bathwater you will create a process which is called reverse osmosis. In this process you will pull out harmful toxins and salt out of your body and the sulfates and magnesium will be able to enter in your body.

Ginger Detox Bath

You will need:

• 1 tbsp. of freshly ground ginger
• 1 cup of Epsom salts
• 1/2 cup of ground ginger
• Couple of drops of Ginger essential oil

Directions:

1. First fill your tub with hot water.

2. Add ginger, Epsom Salts and essential oils. If you want you can use ginger powder or fresh grated ginger.

3. Stay in the bath for 15-20 minutes.

If you continue to sweet few hours afterwards, you should not be surprised. It is recommended to drink a lot of water after the bath.
